Akrobatik

Jared Bridgeman, better known by his stage name Akrobatik, is a Hiphop artist from the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. He has toured all over the world, with some of Hiphop’s biggest acts. He performs with energy, wisdom, and humor; his stage show never disappoints. In addition to his powerful music, message, and stage show, Akrobatik is an educator. He is currently a professor in the American Studies department at UMass Boston, where he teaches a course called, "The History of Hip Hop and Hip Hop as History".

Akrobatik will serve as a host and a performer, as well as director, for "Know the Ledge—Hiphop History Live!", which will be the showcase event at the Second Annual Powerr of Truths Arts & Education festival.
